That is… the best thing I have seen today.
Hey Girl It’s Paul Ryan is apparently a thing…
CNN’s blog “Political Ticker” covered a Virginia fundraiser where Bill Clinton and President Obama met to get the party started.
While they were there, they of course raked in some cash. Tickets alone for just the reception were $1000 (that’s more than some of the scholarships I won) and for the White House dinner following, tickets “were $20,000 a person” according to CNN.
CNN also says there are plans for two more fund-raisers where both Clinton and Obama will be present. Based on the attendance from this past event, the duo could raise over 1.6 million dollars at each one. Think of all the Jimmy Choo’s you could buy with that!
Clinton, as quoted by CNN, told those at the reception that Obama has “got an opponent who basically wants to do what they did before – on steroids… Which will get you the same consequences you got before, on steroids.”
I see what’s going on here.
Happy Birthday Willie Nelson!
“When I was in trouble in the White House or when I wanted to have some deep thoughts, I had a very high quality hi-fi player, and the number one thing I played was Willie Nelson songs. All the good things I did as a president, all the mistakes I made — you can blame half of that on Willie.”
